Analyze what it is about each venue that you like and dislike, compare the amenities they offer and determine what's important to you.
At the conclusion of your site visits you will likely have one or more property that is at the top of your list. The difficulty is qualifying your final choice, a decision that involves two additional fundamental components guest count and budget.
Guest Count
For most couples this is an illusive number with countless variables, if you invite "Them" then "They" have to come, if "They" come then you have to invite "The Others" and so on. For some this can prove to be a daunting task. That being said once you have narrowed it down to a tangible number then comes the next piece of the puzzle.
Budget
Unfortunately every wedding has a budget regardless of its size. In order
to make qualified decisions, brides have to have a clear understanding of
their available budget and what it is meant to cover.
There are websites that offer budget calculators to assist with determining what percentage
applies to the different components.
A good rule of thumb when calculating the costs for your Wedding is to
assign a value per guest for food and beverage.
For example 100 guests at $100.00 per guest all inclusive would require a budget of $10,000.00
plus all the additional incidental items such as your gown etc.
Once you have a basic perception of these components narrowed down, you are ready
to make decisions.
